The children of Court Lane Infant School celebrated 80 Years of VE Day. In the morning, they completed a range of different Art activities linked to VE Day which they really enjoyed. A special assembly was held to talk about why we celebrate VE Day and what it is all about. In the afternoon the whole school celebrated with a Street Party. The children were able to take their Art creations such as flags and medals with them, whilst also having their special party snack and drink. There was lots of music and dancing. The children understood why we were celebrating 80 Years of VE Day and had a great day!
